Transactions with multiple lines often need different locations per line, but setting them manually is tedious. Defaults based on the user don't account for item-specific or customer-specific location requirements.
We automated line-level location assignment based on configurable rules—item defaults, customer preferences, or other criteria—reducing manual entry and improving location accuracy.
When lines are added, location is set automatically based on defined hierarchy: item default, customer default, user default, or other rules. Users can override but rarely need to.
