Paying vendors to wrong addresses causes payment failures, delays, and fraud risk. Vendor addresses change, but bills might still have old addresses. There's no systematic check that billing addresses are current and valid.
We added address validation to vendor bill processing that verifies billing addresses against vendor master data and flags discrepancies for review before payment.
When vendor bills are approved for payment, the system compares bill address to vendor record. Mismatches are flagged for review—preventing payment to potentially incorrect or fraudulent addresses.
